Brand and approach

BESTME CAMP is the HITSZ STEM education brand of Bestme. We believe the best learning happens inside a real university research environment — working alongside faculty, building something of your own, and turning "I understand the idea" into "I made it work".

We are not interested in the shallow version — walking a group around a famous campus. We work closely with Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen to bring its working laboratories, live research topics and faculty teams into our programs, so that students experience the full logic of research: question, method, verification.

How We Work

How we differ from a typical study trip

BESTME CAMP does not do sightseeing with a campus in the background. Whether it is a half-day visit or a multi-day camp, the programme is designed around a real research environment.

A different method

Typical trips offer fragmented experiences. We teach in three steps — principle, demonstration, independent practice — and every concept has to be built by hand at least once.

A different purpose

From a school's half-day visit to a residential camp, the goal is immersion in university study and research, not a sightseeing route.

A different setting

Nothing is observed through glass. Students go into laboratories and training facilities and work with frontline equipment and research topics alongside faculty and engineers.

A different outcome

Students leave with a verifiable official certificate, a mentor-signed research report and the project they built.

What lets us actually deliver

A good curriculum is only the starting point; organisation is what determines the experience. These are the standard arrangements for our camps and school programs.

An independent operator

Bestme (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 and is based in Shenzhen University Town, with the standing to contract and deliver programs directly.

Curriculum we design ourselves

Courses are designed and continuously revised together with relevant HITSZ academic teams — not a third-party package resold to us.

Teaching and support staffing

Faculty and PhD mentors teach, supported by group leaders and pastoral staff. The staff-to-student ratio during a camp is never below 1:10.

Safety and compliance

Camp accident and liability insurance are included, transport uses licensed vehicles, and basic first-aid supplies and emergency procedures travel with every group.

Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen is the C9 League's major presence in the city, with nationally leading research strength and industry links in artificial intelligence, robotics and smart manufacturing.

Harbin Institute of Technology was founded in 1920 and belongs to the C9 League, China's 985/211 group, and the Double First-Class A tier. Its engineering disciplines rank in the global top 1‰ by ESI, and it placed 3rd worldwide for engineering in the U.S. News 2025 rankings — among the strongest engineering universities in the country.

National-level laboratories
HITSZ operates national key laboratories and eight core laboratories, with advanced equipment and full mentor teams in robotics, artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing. Its natural language processing group ranks 3rd worldwide in CS Rankings. Students go directly into these laboratories and encounter research and technology that lies beyond the classroom.

The Shenzhen advantage
The campus sits in Shenzhen University Town, next to Nanshan Science and Technology Park and Guangming Science City, surrounded by companies such as Huawei, DJI and Tencent. Students see not only technology inside the lab, but where that technology is heading in industry.

BESTME CAMP maintains long-term cooperation with relevant HITSZ academic teams. Courses are designed with faculty input, and graduates receive an official HITSZ research-practice certificate — so every student's experience is genuine, authoritative and verifiable.
