K-12 Experiential Learning

K-12 school programs

University-based STEM trips for primary and secondary schools. Not a campus walk-through — a group program with a designed curriculum, hands-on work and something to show for it.

For Schools

Solving the real problem with school trips

A good school trip has to do three things at once: carry educational value, run safely, and satisfy parents. Most university itineraries deliver only a tour and a group photo — and students go home with nothing they can write up.

Our modules come from the HITSZ camp curriculum, compressed into a format that works for a half-day or full-day group visit: the explanation, the demonstration and the hands-on work are all kept, focused on what can realistically be completed in the time available.

We handle curriculum design, campus liaison, on-the-day delivery and accompanying staff. The school's role is mainly organisation and approval.

  • Year levels Upper primary through senior secondary, with depth and delivery adjusted to the group
  • Duration Half-day or full-day, scheduled around your timetable and travel time
  • Group size Built for large school groups — split into classes, running in parallel
  • Location Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen campus and associated facilities
Capacity

How we handle large groups

The biggest risk with a large group is chaos. We stagger groups so that every one completes the full programme instead of queueing for a venue.

Group rotation

Classes are split into groups that rotate through the tour, the lecture and the hands-on session in different orders, so no venue is ever overloaded.

Staffing

Each group has its own presenter and group leader, working alongside the school's accompanying teachers, with roles and contact details agreed in advance.

Schedule and transport

The timetable is built backwards from your school hours and travel time. Licensed coaches are arranged, numbered and given fixed meeting points.

Contingency planning

Procedures for weather, illness and separation are agreed before the visit, and basic first-aid supplies travel with the group.

Modules

Optional programme modules

Modules are combined freely around your schedule, year level and subject focus. The final programme is confirmed after we discuss your requirements.

Campus orientation

Walk the HITSZ campus and learn how disciplines, research directions and student life fit together — turning "university" from an abstraction into something concrete.

Lab and equipment visits

Guided observation of humanoid robots, smart manufacturing lines and AI vision platforms, with the real applications explained along the way.

STEM lectures

Talks on artificial intelligence, robotics and smart manufacturing, pitched to the year level, showing how a research question is actually investigated.

Hands-on sessions

Short tasks that can be completed within the visit, so students operate equipment themselves rather than watching for the whole day.

Process

How a partnership runs

From the first conversation to the end of the visit, each stage comes with written material to make internal school approval straightforward.

We can provide itineraries, safety plans and insurance documentation to match your school's approval requirements.

  1. Requirements Confirm year levels, group size, dates, duration and educational goals.
  2. Proposal Receive an itinerary, a module combination and a quotation.
  3. Site visit and confirmation Walk the venue and routes, settle catering, and agree the safety plan.
  4. Preparation Parent notices, group list templates and pre-visit briefing material.
  5. Delivery Presenters and support staff run the day to the group plan.
  6. Follow-up Photos and a record of the visit, plus a debrief with the school.
